For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

One of my favorite quotes I see being passed around on social media these days is, “If you think you’ve blown God’s plan for your life, rest in this: you, my beautiful friend, are not that powerful.”

Isn’t that one of the most life-giving and freeing statements you’ve ever laid your eyes on?

Friends, if you’re anything like me, then you are very prone to allowing your fear of making mistakes from making any “moves” at all. For instance, maybe you have a dream that you feel was planted in your heart by God, but He forgot to give you the step-by-step instructions on how to proceed with this dream. Or, maybe you have a big decision to make and find yourself paralyzed by lack of clarity so you make no decision at all.

I get it, that could be scary, and I am a big believer of dreaming and moving with God instead of without Him, but I’m not an advocate (and neither is He) for allowing fear to rule our decision making and dream walking process. And, guess what? The mistakes we make along the way, when given to Him, are used for our good and His glory. There is nothing in our lives that isn’t already redeemed.

I know you might have some scars from past mistakes made, but dear friend, there is no mistake in this world that could separate you from the love of God. Always remember, you are not powerful enough to ruin your life with any mistake you’ve made. Take a moment to really allow that to sink in. You deserve it.

We hope that this encourages you to trace God’s hand in your life and remember everything He’s already brought you through. There is so much goodness in store for you and an unlimited amount of grace along the way.

You.Are.Loved.

Thank you so much for sharing! I definitely needed to be reminded of this today as I’m needing to make some decisions and have been stuck in my default mode of “paralysis” & being afraid to make the wrong choice. 🙂

School full time has been kicking my butt and I was thinking of dropping a class because it’s HARD and God told me to trust him and walk by faith and not by sight. So i didn’t i continued putting in hard work because after all faith without works is dead. And i allowed fear get the best of me and did badly in my exam and was angry at how could this happen really beat myself up about it then i wake up to this. So thank you!!
